Capture a long chat screenshot on Mac

Save a whole support thread, message history, or long conversation as one clean screenshot without uploading it to a web tool.

Long conversations need context

A visible screenshot is often not enough for a support conversation, bug report, customer thread, research discussion, or private message history. The important part may be fifty messages above the current view, and sending a stack of separate screenshots is hard to read.

Everscroll captures the conversation as one long screenshot. Because the workflow runs locally, it is useful for private chats and internal support threads where uploading the content to a web screenshot service is not acceptable.

How to capture a long chat

  1. Open the chat, support thread, or conversation window on your Mac.
  2. Start Everscroll and select only the message area you need.
  3. Scroll through the conversation slowly until the full context is captured.
  4. Use OCR, searchable PDF export, or redaction if the screenshot needs to be searched or shared.

Before sharing externally, review the capture for names, emails, account IDs, phone numbers, and any private details that should be redacted.
