Everscroll runs on your Mac. Your screenshots and their contents stay on your device — they are never uploaded to us. The app has no servers of its own, no accounts, and no tracking.
Nothing. Everscroll does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data, screenshots, or usage analytics. There is no telemetry and no "phone home."
Everscroll asks for macOS Screen Recording permission. macOS requires it of any app that captures the screen; Everscroll uses it solely to take the screenshots you request, and for nothing else.
If you tap Translate on extracted text, Everscroll hands that text to macOS's built-in Translation service. Depending on your settings, Apple may process the translation on its servers; you can install an offline language pack in System Settings to keep it fully on-device. This is Apple's system feature, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy — Everscroll itself uploads nothing.
Everscroll occasionally downloads a small settings file (social-media carousel dimensions) so platform specs stay current. This is a one-way download; no information about you or your captures is ever sent.
Everscroll Pro is sold through the Mac App Store. Apple handles the payment; Everscroll never sees your payment details.
Everscroll contains no third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs.
